The major goal of this course is to systematically elaborate the principles of health policy in respect of regional, federal and European politics. Therefore, the focus is laid on structures, processes and stakeholders. Furthermore, scientific approaches to health policy are discussed. Opportunities, limits and organization of political participation and lobbying in decision making processes are presented.

This lecture has been newly integrated into the masters program “Health Economics” since summer semester of 2013. Examination is only possible for students who are studying according to the renewed examination regulations.
